Radio Reading Services for the blind and vision impaired.
Radio Reading Services are a Federally regulated system of communications for the blind and visually impaired. There are approximately 200 of these services around the world. Special laws have been innacted to provide relief of copywrite laws and allow uncompensated media distribution. Oversight of these services is provided by the Federal Comunications Comission.
R.O.F. Studios
R.O.F. Studios provides Old Time Radio Programs to these Radio Reading Services. We currently supply shows to many RRS and hope to expand this coverage. These programs are funded by the procedes of the services listed on this website. Our continuing goal is to provide audio entertainment for the reading impaired.
Track Record
The Audio Information Network of Colorado formerly the Radio Reading Service of the Rockies has been supplied with a weekly one hour program since 1995. The program is titled “A Tribute To Old Time Radio” and is heard at multiple times and days during the week.

What and How We DO IT!
R.O.F.Studios has an extensive collection of old time radio and we choose each show for it’s content and interest to our listeners. We then, using the latest digital techniques, “clean” and digitize these programs to CD media. The CD media is then transported to the RRS for broadcast.
If you are a legitimate RRS Station and would like to receive our programs, they are available for our production costs of $5 for each CD. You can find our listing of shows and order form on a following page (pending). We currently have over 253 one hour programs produced.
In order for us to share these shows with you, you must be a bona fide Radio Reading Service.
